My engagement story!

Yes!!! I am engaged! I can't believe it! It is more than I could dream of and I am so happy! So I am writing this because I have the details fresh in my mind and I want to share the story, so here we go!!! First to give a little backround, Nick and I have been dating for 2 years and we met through a mission friend of mine back when she was my roommate and it was her birthday. I asked to go on a ride on his fancy motorcycle about 2 months after I met him and the rest is histoy! Since in the past while of our dating spree I have been wondering for the longest time when a particular question would be asked, I would give him little hints like saying, "If you ask me a question I'll say yes..." or "You want to take me to a really pretty place this weekend and ask me a question don't you!?"...I almost got to the point where I was like, "While you are doing lunges why don't you stay down awhile and ask me the question!"...But he just loved teasing and dragging it out! By now we were used to the question, "When are you getting married? Is this your wife? When's the big day?" The answer would usually result in a "someday" or "soon". And for some reason I knew that he would get me by surprise because I wanted to be surprised! And we didn't really look at rings together becuase I wanted that to be all his choice and so that I could be surprised! So today we go to church and it was just a normal sunday, nothing very different. Then we went to his house, ate lunch, watched Night at the Museum 2, took a nap, played with his remote helicopter, ate dinner. And then he asked if I wanted to go on a motorcyle ride, I said "Of course"! And we have taken his motorcycle out on nice rides before so this wasn't anything out of the ordinary. So we are riding and there is this amazing lightning storm off in the distance! And I always love lightning storms because they remind me of when Nick and I first started dating, when we rode on his motorcyle and there were amazing thunderstorms. So he asked if I wanted a better look at the storm, and agreed. So we go to this look out in Orem above the Cemetary and it was where we kinda had our first date (he was recreating the whole thing down to the weather). So we go there and there are 2 amazing storms just to look at from the view. I asked if he wanted to sit on a rock and so we sat there just looking and talking about who knows what, and then he got up because he needed "gum". And while he was getting his "gum" out of his motorcyle he was directing my attention to the lightning the other way. He then came back over and was kinda shifting his feet a little bit and he was telling me how much he loved me and asked if I loved him back, and I said a lot! And he led into, how much and I said 10x10! Then he said "I love you this much" and he pulled out a special box and I was in shock! I was shaking and I thought that I would cry but I was so happy and I couldn't believe it that I was hugging him and he pulled back and knelt down and he said my full name and asked me to marry him, and I said a big "YES!", and he stood back up and kissed me and hugged me and then I said "I want to see it" and I then looked at the most beautiful ring and he put it on my finger and then I kept hugging him and then I cried! I am the happiest girl and I get to have the love of my life and my best friend in my life forever! We then called my parents ( and I later found out that when Nick was on the phone with my dad my mom was already on the phone with my 2 state side siblings), and then we rode home and told his parents and the rest of the world!
